Common questions

Does the app pay my bills?

No, and it never asks for card or bank details. Each bill can hold a link to the biller's own official website; the Pay button simply opens that site in Safari so you pay them directly, the same way you would normally.

Where are my bills stored?

On your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you deliberately turn on sync.

How does syncing between devices work?

Sync is optional and off until you switch it on. It runs through a small private bridge that you own and deploy to your own free Cloudflare account — not through anyone else's server. Your devices pair with a QR code, and only devices holding that key can read your data.

What does "left to save" mean?

Add what you earn under Income, and the app subtracts your monthly bills from your monthly income. What's left is what you could put away. If your bills come to more than your income, it says so plainly instead of hiding it.

Will it remind me before a bill is due?

If you turn on reminders in Settings, yes — a quiet notification at 9 AM, a few days ahead and again on the due day. Those reminders are created on your device and are not sent through any server.

How do I get my data out?

The Mac app exports your bills, income and payment history as spreadsheet files you can open in Numbers or Excel.
